Safe Trading Guide
10thbiz connects buyers and sellers. We do not process payments yet, so you pay and ship directly with the other person. These tips help you avoid most problems.
1. Before you buy
- Look at the seller’s profile and their other listings. New accounts selling rare pieces at very low prices deserve extra care.
- Ask for more photos: tags, care labels, stitching, hardware and any flaws. A photo with a note showing your username and today’s date proves the seller has the item.
- Ask for measurements and compare them with a piece you own.
- Compare details with known authentic examples. If a price looks too good to be true, it usually is.
2. Paying
- Use a payment method with buyer protection, such as PayPal Goods & Services or a credit card. Never use PayPal “Friends & Family” for a purchase: it has no protection.
- Avoid bank transfers, wire services, cryptocurrency and gift cards. Money sent this way usually cannot be recovered.
- Agree on the total price first: item, shipping and who pays import duties.
- Never share passwords or verification codes, and do not open payment links sent in messages. Log in to your payment app yourself.
3. Selling and shipping
- Ship only after the payment has arrived. Check it in your PayPal or bank app, not in an email. Fake “payment received” emails are common.
- Ship to the address on the payment, not a different one asked for in a message.
- Use a tracked service such as EMS, DHL, FedEx or UPS, and share the tracking number in the chat.
- Photograph the item and the packed parcel, and keep your receipt until the buyer has received the item.
- Declare the contents and value honestly on customs forms.
4. Keep the conversation on 10thbiz
- Agree on price, payment and shipping in 10thbiz messages. If something goes wrong, this record helps you, your payment provider and us.
- Be careful if someone pushes you to move to another app, rushes you or refuses tracked shipping. These are common signs of a scam.
5. If something goes wrong
- Report the listing or the user with the Report button on the listing or in the chat, and block the user from the chat.
- Open a dispute with your payment provider (for example, the PayPal Resolution Center or your card issuer). Most have time limits, so do it quickly.
- Keep screenshots of the listing, the chat, the payment and the tracking.
- For fraud, you can also report it to the police where you live.
- Contact us at 2donee@gmail.com. We can remove listings and suspend accounts.
6. Counterfeits
Selling counterfeit or replica items is not allowed on 10thbiz. We remove these listings and may permanently suspend the account. See our Listing Policy and Terms of Service.
