Listing Policy
1. Purpose
This policy sets out the rules for listing, describing and selling pre-owned fashion items on 10thbiz (the “Service”). Its purpose is to prevent harm caused by false or exaggerated information, undisclosed condition issues, duplicate listings, counterfeits and prohibited items, and to keep the marketplace fair for sellers and buyers.
2. Definitions
- “10thbiz,” “we” and “us” mean the operator of the Service.
- “User” means anyone who signs up for and uses the Service, including sellers and buyers.
- “Seller” means a user who lists an item for sale, at a fixed price or by auction.
- “Buyer” means a user who wants to buy a listed item.
- “Professional seller” means a user who is registered as a business and sells repeatedly and continuously for profit.
- “Listing information” means all information a seller provides about an item, including photos, title, description, price, size, condition and shipping.
- “Our team” means the people who review listings and take action under this policy on behalf of 10thbiz.
3. Scope
This policy applies to every user who lists items or sells on the Service, individual and professional sellers alike. Section 20 also applies to professional sellers.
It applies to every item posted on the Service, whether listed at a fixed price or by auction and however it is delivered. Anything this policy does not cover is governed by applicable law and our other policies.
4. Listing standards
4.1 Basic rules
Every item must be a physical item the seller actually owns. Sellers must accurately describe the item’s real condition and anything else that could affect the sale.
4.2 Required information
The following must be included. Listings without them may be rejected or asked to be corrected.
- Brand
- Item title
- Size, as shown on the tag (where the item has a size)
- Condition, chosen from the grades in 4.4
- Flaws and damage (write “none” if there are none)
- Authenticity (if you cannot confirm the item is authentic, say so)
- Price
4.3 Recommended information
We strongly recommend including the following. If a dispute arises over information you left out, it may count against you.
- Measurements
- Materials
- Included accessories (box, dust bag, tags, etc.)
- Where and how you got the item
- Alterations or repairs (required where applicable, see Section 9)
- Anything else that could affect a buyer’s decision
4.4 Condition grades
Sellers must choose the condition that matches these standards.
| Grade | Standard |
|---|---|
| New / Never Worn | Never worn or used, with tags or original packaging. |
| Gently Used | Worn a few times, with no visible signs of wear even up close. |
| Used | Normal signs of wear such as pilling, light fading or sole wear, but fully wearable. |
| Very Worn | Noticeable wear such as stains, stretching or damage, or in need of repair. |
Choosing a better condition than the item’s real one, or deliberately leaving out a significant flaw, is treated as a false listing.
4.5 Photos
Photos must be taken by you of the actual item for sale. We recommend including:
- Front and back of the item
- Brand label and size label
- Key details
- Any flaws or signs of wear
- Included accessories
The following are prohibited or may be restricted:
- Using someone else’s photos or images from the internet as if they showed your item
- Filters, editing or brightness changes that make the condition hard to judge
- Mixing worn or styled photos with item photos without making the difference clear
- Watermarks that hide the item’s condition or design
Make sure no address, phone number, bank account number, ID or other personal information is visible in your photos. Listing photos can be seen by anyone.
5. Prices and terms
Sellers are free to set their prices, which are shown in US dollars. Misleading prices, such as fake discounts or an unsupported “retail price,” are not allowed.
Before a sale, sellers must make the following clear:
- Price and shipping fee for each region
- Shipping method
- Whether the price is negotiable
- Included accessories
- Significant flaws, alterations or repairs
- Any other terms of the sale
Deliberately leaving out information that would significantly affect a buyer’s decision is treated as incomplete listing information.
5.1 International shipping, duties and taxes
Most sales on 10thbiz cross borders. Unless a seller clearly states otherwise in the listing:
- Import duties, VAT, customs fees and other taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the buyer and are not included in the price or shipping fee.
- Buyers should check their country’s import rules and likely charges before buying. Refusing a delivery to avoid these charges does not entitle a buyer to a refund.
Sellers must:
- only offer shipping to regions where they can actually deliver;
- not ship items that are banned or restricted in the buyer’s country (for example, some animal materials, or items that require import permits);
- fill in customs declarations truthfully, with the real contents and value, and never mark a sale as a gift to avoid duties.
6. Duplicate listings
Listing the same item more than once, or using the same photos and description for several listings, is not allowed.
If the price, condition or included accessories change, edit the existing listing instead of creating a new one. The same item may be listed again only if:
- a completed sale was canceled, or
- 7 days have passed since you deleted the previous listing.
Relisting to gain visibility is handled under Section 17.
7. False or exaggerated claims
Do not describe an item’s condition or value in ways that are not true. The following may only be used when you can back them up:
- “Like new,” “never worn”
- “Guaranteed authentic”
- “Limited edition,” “rare,” “discontinued”
- “Retail price $___”
If you only use vague phrases such as “no flaws” or “minor wear” and leave out real flaws, you may be held responsible in a dispute. Describe flaws and wear specifically, including where they are and how big they are.
About 1 cm stain at the end of the right sleeve.
Wear on the zipper pull; the zipper works normally.
8. Authenticity and intellectual property
Counterfeits, replicas and items that could be mistaken for genuine products may not be listed. For branded items, include where possible the model name, where and when you bought it, and whether you have a receipt, warranty card or other proof.
If our team asks for proof of authenticity, you must provide what you can within 7 days. If you do not, the listing may be hidden.
The following are prohibited:
- Selling counterfeits or presenting a counterfeit as genuine
- Stating that an item is authentic when you cannot confirm it
- Misusing brand logos or trademarks
- Using someone else’s photos or other copyrighted work without permission
9. Altered and repaired items
If an item has been altered or repaired, you must say so in the description. We recommend also describing what was changed, how, when, and whether it was done by you or a professional.
Waist taken in by about 2 cm.
Custom piece with a patch added over the original logo.
Hiding alterations or repairs that affect an item’s appearance or function is prohibited. An item whose original design has been changed must not be presented as a genuine product of that brand, and must be identified as custom or altered in the title or at the start of the description.
10. Vintage and archive items
Vintage and archive items are welcome. If you cannot confirm the year or season an item was made, do not state it as fact.
Believed to be from the 1990s.
Exact year of production unknown.
Describe in as much detail as possible any fading, pilling, weakened fabric, stretching, odors, signs of moisture, condition of zippers and buttons, aging of hardware, repairs and storage conditions. A phrase such as “vintage, no returns” does not replace your duty to disclose an item’s condition.
11. Novelty, promotional and not-for-sale items
When listing novelty items, gifts with purchase, not-for-sale items or magazine extras, state clearly in the title or description where the item came from and what it is. Do not list them in a way that could be confused with a retail product.
Our team may ask for proof of origin, such as a receipt, event information, a brand’s official giveaway announcement or the magazine page describing the extra. If the origin cannot be confirmed, or the item is likely to be mistaken for a retail product, the listing may be restricted.
12. Resale, overseas purchases and parallel imports
If you bought an item for resale or from overseas, make this clear to buyers.
Bought from the brand’s official overseas website.
Bought through a resale platform in Korea.
Parallel import.
Reselling items that were imported duty-free for personal use may violate the customs laws of the country where you live. Sellers are solely responsible for complying with these laws, and our team may restrict listings that appear to break them.
Taking orders for items you do not have and then buying them from overseas sellers to ship (proxy buying) is not allowed.
13. Prohibited items
The following may not be listed or sold. This list may change with the law and how the Service operates.
| Category | Prohibited items |
|---|---|
| Counterfeits | Counterfeit luxury goods, fake branded items, fake logo items, items posing as genuine, other items that infringe intellectual property |
| Dangerous or illegal items | Firearms, knives and other legally restricted weapons, explosives and hazardous materials, drugs, illegal medicines |
| Alcohol and tobacco | Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes and related products |
| Adult and illegal content | Adult products, illegally recorded material, obscene material, content harmful to minors |
| Personal information and IDs | Any form of ID, documents containing personal information, credit or debit cards and copies of them |
| Digital accounts | Social media, game, streaming, online course and other accounts whose transfer is prohibited |
| Protected species | Items made from endangered species’ leather, fur, feathers, ivory or similar materials that require CITES or other permits, if the permits are not available |
| Hygiene | Worn underwear, worn swimwear, worn socks |
| Medicines, medical devices and cosmetics | Medicines, contact lenses and other medical devices, opened or used cosmetics |
| Other | Items our team considers inappropriate to sell under the law or for safe trading |
14. Safety-related items
Electrical and electronic goods, children’s products and other safety-related items must meet applicable laws and safety standards. Sellers must not give false information about an item’s safety or certification.
Items found to be recalled or banned from sale may be removed immediately. Our team may ask for documents or restrict items it considers unsafe.
15. About transactions
10thbiz is an online marketplace intermediary that provides a system for users to trade with each other. We are not a party to any transaction. Sellers are responsible for their listing information and their transactions.
The Service does not currently offer payment, escrow or payout features. Payments are made directly between users, and we cannot hold or refund them. Before buying, check the item’s condition, price, shipping and terms carefully.
Never give another user your national ID number, banking passwords, verification codes, photos of your ID or other financial or identity information. Our team may restrict listings and accounts suspected of fraud or misuse of personal information.
When payments are introduced, this section will be updated and the changes announced under Section 21.
16. Rentals
The Service is for selling items, with ownership passing to the buyer. Listing items for rent is not allowed, including:
- Short-term rentals or deals that require the item back
- Deals that ask for a deposit, late fees or similar charges
- Repeatedly listing high-value items for rent
17. Enforcement
Our team acts based on how serious the violation is, whether it is repeated, the harm caused and the user’s explanation. We do not take action automatically based on the number of reports; we review each report and the evidence first.
| Level | Examples | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Minor | Missing required information, heavily edited photos, wrong condition grade, a single duplicate listing | Request to edit, listing hidden, warning |
| Repeated | The same violation after a warning, relisting for visibility | Listing restrictions for 3, then 7, then 30 days; selling or messaging restricted |
| Serious | Selling counterfeits, fraud, misuse of personal information, listing prohibited items, deliberately hiding flaws | Listing removed immediately, account suspended or permanently banned, cooperation with authorities or rights holders where needed |
Serious violations may lead to an immediate account restriction even on a first offense.
We will tell you what action was taken, why, for how long and how to appeal, by email to the address on your account (in-app notifications are coming soon). Where we must act quickly to stop harm such as fraud, we may act first and notify you afterward.
18. Reports and appeals
You can report a policy violation using the Report option on listing and auction pages and in chats.
When we receive a report, our team may review, as needed, the listing information and photos, edit and deletion history, the messages in the reported conversation and other records of use of the Service. We only review messages in the reported conversation, and only as far as needed to establish the facts.
If action is taken against you, you may appeal within 14 days of being notified by emailing 2donee@gmail.com. We will reply with the result within 7 days of receiving your appeal. If we need more time, we will tell you why and when to expect an answer.
19. User responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for their listing information and terms of sale. Sellers bear particular responsibility for:
- False listing information or condition
- Undisclosed flaws, missing accessories, alterations or repairs
- Counterfeit items, items of unclear origin, or false claims of authenticity
- False shipping or sale terms
Buyers should review listing information carefully and ask the seller any questions before buying.
20. Professional sellers
Users who sell repeatedly as a business must meet their own legal obligations, such as business registration and any online-selling or tax registration required where they are based.
Professional sellers must show on their seller page the business name, representative’s name, business registration number, contact details and any other information required by law. Our team may ask for documents to confirm this and may restrict selling if it cannot be confirmed.
21. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy as the Service or the law changes. We will post the changes and their effective date on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect. Changes that are unfavorable to users will be posted at least 30 days in advance and also sent by email.
22. Related policies
This policy applies together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies we post. If they conflict, the policy that applies more directly to the matter takes precedence.
23. Governing law
10thbiz is operated from the Republic of Korea, and this policy is governed by Korean law. This does not take away any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
Effective date
This policy takes effect on October 11, 2026. Last updated October 11, 2026.
